PURPOSE
The role of the Global Sourcing Manager is to own the strategic supply plan to meet the category growth objectives, including selecting and leading all cost negotiations. The role works in close collaboration with Business Units, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing Operations, and Asia Hub teams to develop and execute the Global Sourcing Strategy. The Global Sourcing Manager will ensure that CCM has a world class Supply Chain built to exceed our customers’ expec-tations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Select suppliers including regional supplier evaluation and confirming manufacturing supplier agreements.
* Lead supplier negotiations in collaboration with Manufacturing Operations and the BU Teams.
* Establish and Set Tier 1 Supplier Capacity Plans based on strategic growth trajectory needs, including mapping supply chain requirements for Tier 2, Tier 3 etc, plus identify long lead time Raw Material that require management.
* Drive supplier Cost Reduction initiatives utilizing “true should cost models” with key Cost Break Downs (CBD) and a total cost of acquisition approach.
* Work with select manufacturers to continuously improve manufacturing efficiency to yield measurable improvements in LO (labour, overhead). 
* Partner with inventory/supply planning teams, including appropriate depletion/exit strategies for Finished Goods and Raw Material.
* Tier 1 Contract Supplier Relationship Validation (CSR) - responsible for overseeing supplier corporate social responsibility ensuring that processes and validation steps are in place to make sure that suppliers are operating in an ethical and socially responsible manner.
* Elaborate and publish monthly sourcing analytics reports covering commodity index, catego-ry/vendor portfolio mix (purchases by colors, by sizes, the seasonality, costing, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
* Bachelor’s degree in business management (or any other relevant education) combined with 5 to 7 years of Global Supply Chain and Sourcing experience with an important understanding of Asian supply chains. Any other pertinent experience may be considered.
* Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. 
* Strong communication abilities and capacity of influencing various stakeholders.
* Possess a strategic mentality and a strong analytical pedigree combined with financial and business acumen, including experience with “should cost modeling”.
* Ability to investigate and innovate using non-traditional methods, all with the utmost integrity;
* Global thinking and available to travel internationally 2 to 3 times a year.
* Experience in Consumer Products Goods and/or sporting goods would be an asset.
* Bilingualism (English and French).
